Hi, I'm Vincent.

I've been writing songs in my head since I was six years old, long before I could play an instrument. Music eventually took me from my home island of Mauritius to stages across South Africa, India and Reunion Island as the frontman of rock band Crossbreed Supersoul.

Now based in Melbourne, I perform acoustic sets filled with songs people know and love, songs they weren't expecting to hear, and the occasional story behind them. I'm not the guy who presses play on backing tracks—I love the spontaneity of live music, the crowd interactions, and those moments when a song suddenly brings people together.

Expect familiar songs, forgotten favourites, a few surprises, and plenty of moments where someone says, "I haven't heard that song in years!"

My performances are built around acoustic guitar and vocals, but I occasionally like to spice things up with a looper, electric guitar, layered harmonies and live textures that create a bigger sound while keeping the performance intimate and authentic.

My repertoire is inspired by artists I love, such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, Keane, Snow Patrol and Tame Impala, while also including carefully selected recent pop favourites and modern crowd-pleasers. Whether it's a relaxed Sunday session, a wedding, a private function or a lively venue, I focus on reading the room and creating the right atmosphere—sometimes as the soundtrack to a conversation, sometimes as the reason people stop and listen.


Always preferable to be covered so that equipment is protected. I bring my gear (instruments, amps, mic, speaker) but I need an electric point. If you can provide one monitor for vocals it's awesome.
