Terraplane and the Hudson Horns

Terraplane is a blues band based in Hobart Tasmania. The band has been together since around 1990 and plays both covers and original music. We play (mostly) blues influenced by the styles of Sonny Boy Williamson, Paul Butterfield, Paul DeLay, Taj Mahal and others. The songs we play cover a wide variety of blues from the classics of Chicago Blues, the swing of Texas and West Coast Blues, to the more modern treatments of Jason Ricci, Carlos Del Junco and even a little Tom Waits. (We occasionally stray into jazz and ballad styles).Recently we have been joined by The Hudson Horns which has added a new dimension to our sound and repertoire and it's a big sound that will really rock any venue.
