My name is Angela. I have a rare disease called Neutral Lipid Storage Disease with Myopathy.

I was once a powerhouse-workaholic-of-a-woman, mum & wife; I was happy & kicking goals. I lived a mainstream life & had no exposure to the world of disability. And then life stopped. At age 30, I was diagnosed with a progressive & degenerative disease. Consumed by depression, I lost everything - my career, my marriage and my identity.

But through resilience & courage I demanded life back. And piece by piece, a more beautiful world was built.

I now support organisations to empower people, co-design disability programs & share my story about overcoming adversities.
