Mikaela & Friends is a band led by Mikaela Nichols' versatile vocals. They specialise in live cover music for venues and corporate entertainment, and play a wide range of genres, from belting out pop, rock and dance tunes, to playing smooth, sultry jazz, blues and R&B.
The band consists of Mikaela on vocals, Greg Souter on Guitar and Jeremy Sibson on percussion/drums.
Although primarily a 3-piece, Mikaela & Friends is known for versatility, and the size of the band can change depending on client needs. For example, a 4 to 6-piece band with multiple instrumentalists.

Mikaela & Friends play a variety of genres, including pop, rock, dance, R&B, jazz and blues - Making them the most versatile band in Hobart! Mikaela's voice is BIG - belting out all your favourite pop, rock and dance tunes. However, she is also known for her sultry jazz and blues sound for more chilled out tunes. Accompanied by the incredible Greg Souter and Jeremy Sibson on guitar and percussion/drums, Mikaela & Friends is predominantly a trio, however they are easily able to bring in more musicians for a bigger band sound - this may include bass guitar, sax, keys, more vocalists - whatever you desire.
Led by Mikaela Nichols' versatile vocals, Mikaela & Friends knows how to make a crowd get up and boogie. Known around Hobart for bar performances, they also do corporate events and functions, including weddings, birthdays, functions and more!
