Michael Scriha

Singer and guitarist Michael Scriha was born and raised in Mackay, before studying a Bachelor of Music (Jazz & Pop) at CQCM. Ten years later, performing at various pubs, corporate gigs and weddings, Michael continues to entertain and captivate audiences with his incredible vocals and fluid guitar. Influenced by the Beatles, Grinspoon, John Mayer and the Offspring among others, Michael’s style draws from a blend of rock, pop, jazz and alternative music producing ear worms you don't want to get rid of. Michael has performed with Sofar Sounds Brisbane, Johnny Rhythm and the 60s Project and supported Wendy Matthews. Michael is now in Mackay and sharing his talent across the local music scene.
