Melbourne Belly Dancer - Vittorina

What does a Belly Dance Show involve?
A belly dance show takes the audience on a beautiful journey into the Middle East. Experience the mesmerising moves of Belly Dance, an ancient dance art form that has been in existence for many many years.

-Vittorina’s Show Format-
**Opening piece: The belly dancer enters with Wings (silver/gold/LED), Colourful Veil, or Colourful Fanveils. This entrance piece begins the journey, showcasing the bellydancer, mesmerising the audience with beautiful movements, using music that will immediately captivate the audience. Included in this is a Drum Solo, a fantastically upbeat piece of music that will get the party started. This opening piece is generally a choreographed routine and goes for approx. 5-7mins.
**The Guest of Honour: After the opening piece, the music continues and the belly dancer invites the guest of honour (birthday person, anniversary couple, bride & groom etc) to the dance floor. This section of the show celebrates the guest of honour, dancing with them, showing them some belly dance movements, but most importantly highlighting them to their guests, making them feel special and have fun.
**Invitation for all: The bellydancer then invites all other guests that wish to participate onto the dance floor to continue the excitement. Lots of smiles, laughter and joy is shared during these moments. The bellydancer will include other props such as Zill (finger cymbals), and Cane/Stick.
This entire show format is approximately 25mins. Can be shorter or longer if requested.
Vittorina has an extensive wardrobe of belly dance costumes, with various colours and styles to choose from.

**Vittorina Does Not perform at Bucks parties or any male only events.

- Vittorina provides the music for her performance on either iPhone, iPod, Tablet or USB (whatever the client requires) and brings the appropriate cabling and adaptors.
- Vittorina can also provide a speaker if the client requires it.
- Vittorina requires a room for her belongings to be stored safely and to also get changed privately.
- Vittorina generally uses Veil or Wings to open her show, so if there are any low hanging decorations or lighting, please advise so the performance can be adjusted.

Belly dance music from various regions including Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey and Greece is available. Vittorina's set list can be catered to the function's needs. Song requests are welcome. Vittorina always chooses upbeat music to keep the show as lively as possible and to keep your guests entertained.

Vittorina can provide, solo, duo, trio, or group performances. Female and Male belly dancers. Female & Male drummers. Tarot Reader and Oracle Card Reader. Latin dance performances. Fire Dancers, and Fusion Dance Performances.

**BELLY DANCE SHOW (typically 20-25 mins, can be shorter or longer upon request)
A typical belly dance performance involves a floorshow with props such as Veil, Wings, Stick/Cane, Zills (finger cymbals), dancing with the guest/s of honour (birthday boy/girl, bride & groom), and audience interaction & participation.

**BELLY GRAM (10-12 mins)
Short and Sweet! A belly gram is a floorshow performance with the use of props such as Veil, Wings, Stick/Cane, Zills (finger cymbals).
Please note: There is no audience interaction for a Belly Gram performance, and only available in certain suburbs of Melbourne.

**BELLY DANCE WORKSHOP:
Dress up and learn a choreography (90 mins):
Perfect for Hens Parties/Bridal Shower. The bride dresses up in a belly dance costume while the guests wear coin hip scarfs. Bride and guests will learn a choreography to a fun Egyptian pop song. The bride and guests then perform and can film & take photos. Finally ending with a performance by Vittorina. Suitable also for Birthday parties as well. Vittorina can come to you, or can organise a venue in East Brunswick 3057 to conduct the workshop.

**BELLY DANCE SHOW & EXPRESS WORKSHOP:
Belly dance performance with an express workshop (30mins):
Perfect for hens parties, bridal showers, and birthdays, guests will be entertained with a belly dance show (approx. 5-7 mins) and will then participate in an express workshop where they will be shown basic yet fun belly dance moves. Everyone involved will perform these moves to a song, and then the belly dancer continues with their belly dance show inviting guests to join in.

**ROVING ENTERTAINERS
Roving performers will use various props, dance for the guests, interact with the guests, and dazzle them with their beautiful costumes. This package can be designed based on your specific function and space. There are various types of roving options, 1 hour 'Welcome Roving', 'All Night Long Roving', 'Customised Roving' designed specifically to your event's needs.
