MJ entered the professional music scene at 17, on a government sponsored tour of the West Coast. Whilst overseas, MJ received radio airplay on BBC placing third in a talent search competition.
After travelling the world, MJ returned to Perth where she showcased her vocal versatility working in Jazz, Pop, Rock, Acoustic and Tribute bands, working alongside people such as Johnny Young. MJ has been the support act for Shannon Noll, sung with Bachelor Girl and has been on Telethon. She has worked at many high profile venues such as Crown Perth, The Quarry Amphitheatre and Optus Stadium. She has worked with Perth Symphony Orchestra and has been the entertainment at NRL State of Origin.
