Luke Huysmans

Luke's enthusiasm to be on camera was created during his years of working with teenagers and parents through the Reach Foundation in Melbourne. This helped Luke develop some impressive interviewing/facilitating skills that are hard to find. Mentoring from AFL legend Jim Stynes and film director Paul Currie gave Luke the ability to run workshops and facilitate people in front of crowds of 30 to 1000. It was in front of these crowds that Luke really began to hone his presenting talents, making him as comfortable on screen as he is live.
More than just a presenter, Luke researches stories and material, drafts scripts, produces and is involved in the editing process. Appealing to his audience, Luke’s videos are always engaging – whether they’re pulling at your heartstrings or just simply entertaining.
Luke's roles have been varied;
He's the online face of Mazda Australia; hosting stories from around the country with content designed to bring Mazda’s latest news to its Australian audience.
Then there's big screen content at major sporting events, including producing, scripting and presenting the stories to be played on the screens at each event. There's also live hosting, commentary and coverage during the events.
Luke has also been a part of broadcast teams for motorsport events televised live and replayed on SBS and Fox Sports.
Further to his motorsport and event work, Luke also hosted Get A Life, produced for Foxtel and does various MC duties for both live and online events, including clients like Moonee Valley Racecourse, Michelin and Digital Marketers Australia just to name a few.
With lots more exciting projects in the pipelines, they'll ensure Luke's star continues to rise.
Luke's voice over work has also been quite extensive, voicing ads across TV, radio and online for everything from various Universities to the Australian Open.
Luke’s passions further extend into music as both a singer and drummer. Always looking for the next adventure, Luke has travelled the world, enjoys SCUBA diving, health & fitness and riding motorbikes whenever possible.
