Hi, I'm Kai and I am studying Jazz Performance at Adl Uni! I'm extremely keen to play whenever possible, I sing, I play Guitar and I perform a large and diverse set of popular tunes, predominately from the 90s and 2000s. I also play improvised solos and use a loop station to create live drum and chord backings and am able to deviate from my usual songs list to a more folk or jazz oriented setlist if required. I personally own and can supply all PA, Microphones, lighting and other personal pieces of equipment required to perform at a venue or function however I am more than happy to try and use other systems too if they are provided and preferred.

I provide a night of feel-good and upbeat tunes, performing noughties and Y2k songs beloved by all while applying my own unique approach to translate them into a well structured and enjoyable set of acoustic live music. This is achieved through a mix of personal arrangements, added textures and additional guitar solos added to provide the set an unpredictable and highly engaging flare.


I am fully self sufficient and can provide my own gear, however i am also pliable and accepting of different systems if they are provided or preferred at a venue. Help with setup and pack down is never required.

other acts i am hireable for is the duo group with my father Born and Raised, who can also be searched for and booked through Crowdpleaser for a slightly increased price. This duo features an increased level of vocal texture, additional instrumentation such as violin and harmonica and more organic interplay between us as guitarists when playing or improvising.
