Liam Twomey

Liam was an incredible hit with the children of 5/6. He was engaging and told personal stories to relate to his mission of getting the children to reflet on gratitude, resilience and goal setting. He thoughtfully engaged the children and was open to them asking him questions. He was generous of spirit and time. The quote of the day was " Miss, I felt like I have met a super star".

We recently had the privilege of hosting Liam as a guest speaker at our team offsite, and his session was amazing. Liam shared his personal story and struggles, detailing how these experiences shaped his journey to the Paralympics. His delivery was incredibly authentic, relaxed, and honest, which made his story even more impactful. Liam captured everyone's attention - he had us laughing and crying, and the team came away feeling inspired and motivated. I haven't stopped hearing everyone rave about how great it was. Liam's story not only highlighted the importance of resilience and determination but also reminded us of the power of authenticity and vulnerability. Liam did a presentation to our year 12 students on their first day back at school to help kick start their motivation for the big year ahead. Students really enjoyed his presentation, and got a lot out of what he had to say. We definitely recommend Liam- he did a fantastic job!

Having heard Liam speak previously, it was a 'no brainer' to have him present to a group of Macedon Ranges men about his inspiring mental health journey from a 7 year old cancer victim to elite paralympic triathlete. Liam Twomey was awesome speaking to our Grade 3 - 6 students! So easy to listen to, with an interesting story and a real message for the students that was conveyed with passion! Liam addressed specific points that were practical for the students to adopt straight away (and for the teachers to implement in the classroom, as well as their own lives!.
