Classical, Jazz, and popular/well-known tunes arranged for guitar. Suitable for small bars or any venue with an easy atmosphere, weddings, wineries, parties, restaurants, etc.
I strive to create a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere with my playing. You can expect to hear beloved classical works by great composers such as Bach and Chopin, as well as familiar Jazz standards like Autumn Leaves and Moon River, played in a chord-melody style of arrangement modeled after guitar legends such as Ted Greene, Joe Pass, Lenny Breau and Tommy Emmanuel.

Whether it be classical music or jazz, I strive to create a beautiful atmosphere with my playing. I am deeply passionate about music, and believe that good music can elevate any occasion. As a frequent venue-goer myself, a pet-peeve of mine is live music acts that are too grating, harsh, or irritating to listen to in settings where I am trying to relax or enjoy conversation. I believe the classical guitar is one of the most beautiful sounding instruments-- it has a light, warm tone that is pleasant to listen to. It's repertoire is interesting and engaging, without demanding to be the centre of attention. It is perfect for any event where the guests are inclined to enjoy their conversations with each other, while beautiful music drifts easily around them. In addition to classical music, the classical guitar's warm nature and polyphonic capabilities also make it a great instrument for jazz, or jazz-style arrangements of popular tunes. I happy to provide either or both of these kinds of music.

For noisy venues, large audiences, and/or large venues, I do typically use some small form of amplification. As such, I simply require a power outlet within 25m of where I will be performing, or an extension cable if no power outlet is that close. If your venue has a PA system/mixing desk/other form of venue-wide speaker system, I can simply plug my guitar directly into that system, which will allow the music to be heard wherever the speakers connected to that system are.
