We had Groove play at my event and they were absolutely brilliant. From start to finish, they brought great energy, played some cracking tunes, and had everyone up on the dance floor. The set list was spot on, mixing classics and crowd-pleasers with plenty of fun vibes. They weren’t just talented musicians, but really engaging and made the whole night feel special. Everyone had such a good time, I couldn’t have asked for better entertainment. Highly recommend Groove if you want a band that knows how to get the party going!

When you book Groove, you are booking a professional, high-energy musical experience tailored to your event's specific needs. We pride ourselves on 'reading the room'—starting with sophisticated, ambient layers during arrival and dinner, and building to a high-octane dance floor.
Because we use custom, in-house studio sequences, you get the punch and depth of a full 5-piece band from a compact duo or trio. You can expect punctuality, a sharp stage presence, and a seamless transition between our live sets and background music.

We provide a completely self-contained production, including a professional PA system and controlled stage lighting. Our requirements are minimal:
- Space: A minimum area of 3m x 2m is ideal (though we are experts at fitting into intimate spaces).
- Power: Access to at least one standard, reliable 240V power outlet.
- Access: We typically require approximately 90 minutes for bump-in and soundcheck prior to our start time, and 45 minutes for pack-down.
- Shelter: If the event is outdoors, we require a flat, level surface and overhead cover for weather protection.
Our repertoire is a curated journey through the best of Pop, Rock, Soul, and Funk. We cover everything from the timeless classics of the 70s and 80s to modern Top 40 hits.
While we have a 'tried and tested' high-energy setlist designed to pack a dance floor, we are always happy to discuss a 'must-play' track for your special moment. Our focus is on 'Re-imagined Classics'—giving familiar songs a fresh, high-fidelity energy that works for all ages.
- Groove Duo: Male and female vocals with live guitars and high-production backing. Perfect for any situation where space and budget are limited.
- Groove Trio: Our standard configuration and most popular option. Three vocalists for an even bigger sound and enhanced stage presence, perfect for larger parties, weddings or corporate events.
- The Groove Wedding Experience: Three vocalists featuring live acoustic music for your ceremony or cocktail hour, transitioning into our high-energy party sets for the reception.
All packages include full sound and lighting production and curated background music during set breaks.
We operate with the highest level of professional accountability. Each member of Groove is covered by $30 Million Public Liability Insurance, and a Certificate of Currency can be provided upon request for any venue or corporate requirement. Additionally, our band management holds a current Blue Card, and we ensure all our equipment is regularly maintained and safety-checked to provide a reliable, worry-free experience for every client.
