Cool Coda is primarily a Classic Rock band but we play a variety of musical styles from Eagles to Angels to Beatles to AC/DC, 60's to today with great authenticity.
We offer a variety of "Tribute" shows including: All Oz Rock, 4 Nations Rock (a set each of classic Australia, NZ, USA and UK rock bands) or songs picked by you just for your event.

With a 5 piece line up, the band can deliver a full sound with a high-quality mix.

Our lineup is:
Brad: Lead Vocals
Alan: Lead Guitar Backup Vocals
Matt: Sax, Guitar, Keys and Vocals
Saul: Bass and Vocals
Steve: Drums and Backup Vocals

Band members are all very experienced musicians with all professional gear including lights and for larger events can provide a dedicated sound professional to provide enhanced sound production. Cool Coda has 3 main singers ensuring variety in sound and style throughout our performance. Brad with his "James Reyne" style voice leads most songs, but for variety Matt with a deeper tone and Saul also lead the singing on many songs. Saul delivers solid bass with a punchy style and Alan leads the guitar work with a rock and bluesy feel. Matt adds further versatility with Sax and keys. The result is a band that can play a wide variety of music styles and can perform covers with very authentic sound.

We have a full and varied set-list and can play a variety of music styles including Rock, Blues, Country and Pop. We specialise in faithfully reproducing a range of Aussie pub rock from the seventies, eighties and nineties but also play hits from all over the world from the 60's to now. Check out our set list.

Tailored Performances: We can tailor our show to suit your preferences and the venue. We typically play a 3 or 4 hour performance but longer or shorter performances can be arranged. You can pick the songs from our song list or we can suggest a set list for your event. We can often play songs at your request that are not listed on the song list.

Equipment: We provide all equipment for our shows including a comprehensive high-quality PA system and extensive lighting.
Space: We need a minimum area of 5m x 3m to set up in.
Outdoor Events: For all outdoor events we must play undercover. By arrangement we can supply gazebo covers for outdoor events.
Power: We only need a single standard power outlet to power our equipment and lighting.

Professional Mixer: For larger events or by arrangement we can supply a dedicated mixing professional to enhance the sound production and to deliver a sound level that suits your event. So whether you need sound levels low for part of your event or fully rocking out, we can meet your needs while still maintaining a well balanced sound.
