Botian Ye is a Sydney-based keyboard vocalist performing family-friendly pop covers with a piano-led style. His set includes English pop, Australian favourites and selected Chinese pop, making it suitable for multicultural community events, night markets and casual live music activations. Botian can perform as a simple keyboard-and-vocal act or use a compact arranger keyboard setup for a fuller one-person-band feel. A relaxed, polished live music set built around keyboard and vocals. The performance can be soft and background-friendly for dinners, cocktail hours and community events, or more upbeat for bar/pub settings.
The repertoire includes well-known English pop, Australian favourites and selected Chinese pop songs. I can adjust the energy level depending on the venue, audience and time of night.
The setup is compact, professional and flexible. I can bring my own keyboard/vocal setup if required, or work with an existing venue PA.

I require a small performance area of around 2m x 2m, access to a standard power point, and reasonable protection from rain/direct weather for outdoor events.
For most bookings I can bring:

Setup time is usually around 10–25 minutes depending on the venue. Parking or nearby loading access is helpful, especially when bringing full equipment.
For larger venues or louder bar environments, a house PA is preferred.

Solo Keyboard & Vocal – Standard Live Set
Best for bars, hotels, pubs, private parties and casual live music nights.
Includes a balanced mix of popular covers, Australian favourites and selected Chinese pop.
One-Person-Band Style Set
Best for venues wanting a fuller sound without booking a full band.
For selected upbeat songs, I use my keyboard arranger setup to add rhythm and fuller accompaniment while still performing live vocals and keys.
Flexible Event Set
Suitable for council events, multicultural activations, markets and family-friendly public events.
Set length and repertoire can be adjusted based on the event schedule and audience.
Performance length can be arranged as 1 x 45 min, 2 x 45 min, 3 x 45 min, or customised depending on the event.
Public liability insurance is available and a certificate of currency can be provided on request.
For private venues, restaurants, bars and hotels, no additional performer permit is usually required from my side unless requested by the venue.
For public spaces, council events, markets or outdoor activations, I’m happy to work with the organiser’s permit requirements. I also have experience performing under council busking/live music permit systems in Sydney.
