Benny Purnell's music has rock and blues undertones with hints of folk, country, and reggae. He can play a set of originals, or 3hrs+ of covers. Usually a mix of both.
Benny's Solo sets are accompanied by acoustic guitar, 2 foot stomps, and vocals all played simultaneously.
Duo is with a drummer, and can be with a lead guitarist if needed. Artists covered range from INXS, Jet, The Black Keys, Sublime, The Talking Heads, Grinspoon, Nirvana, Stevie Wonder, Steppenwolf, Neil Young, and Ash Grunwald.
Music with good energy and desire to create the right sound for the room. Benny has his own PA , and is also in rock band Tubed Radio.
