April Cello is a cellist and loop artist. With her Yamaha Electric Cello and a sophisticated loop station, April artfully weaves together the many sounds of the cello to create a rich and full string sound and an atmosphere of elegance – all in one neat, petite package!
With well over a decade of experience performing at weddings and corporate events with string ensembles, April performs as a solo loop artist, playing a wide variety of love songs and sweet tunes that are perfect for entertaining you and your guests.
April regularly performs with singer/guitarist - Yvonne - who's smooth voice is perfectly paired with the guitar and the rich and soulful voice of the cello by April.

Imagine yourself on the set of TV Series ‘Bridgerton’ with a lush and modern string soundtrack playing all of your favourite love songs!
Thanks to looping technology, I am able to layer multiple tracks of cello sound to create a full and lush string sound. Plus, my song list is made up of contemporary heart-warming, swoon-inducing and toe-tapping songs that you and your guests will know and love.


● Access to power must be provided at each performance location (within 40 metres).
● Any change of location during the booking time will require up to 15 minutes for me to move and set up my equipment again, during which time no music will be provided.
● Adequate shelter from rain, strong winds and intense heat must be provided for the performance, which may include providing a sheltered location or shelter if needed.


April’s entertaining performance is full of contemporary heart-warming, swoon-inducing, and toe-tapping songs that you and your guests will know and love. She loves to perform covers by a wide variety of artists, including Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Coldplay, U2, Ed Sheeran, Michael Bublé, Ellie Goulding, The Beatles, Taylor Swift, and Vance Joy to name a few. Be pleasantly surprised and experience string music played with a modern twist.


1. Wedding Ceremony:
• Pre-ceremony – music to set the atmosphere as guests arrive at your ceremony location.
• Ceremony - your chosen favourite songs for the bridal entrance, signing of the register, and bridal party exit.
• Post-ceremony - a short set to finish off the ceremony.
2. Wedding Ceremony and Afternoon Entertainment:
• All of the above
• Plus music to entertain your guests while they mingle and canapes are served.
