The band were talented, played to the crowd (including some Christmas songs when Santa showed up) and were perfect for the event. Gave it a cool, chilled vibe. The music was perfect volume, not too loud for conversation and the range/tone of the lead singer was broad - lots of mellow vibes and a bit of rock thrown in. Recommend.

These guys played at my wedding, we booked on price and hadn't heard them before, they are worth every cent and would have paid double, 10/10 performance.

We recently had Mark and Jody play for us at our hockey clubs 60th anniversary event at The Salt Br in Kingscliff and they were absolutely brilliant. The way they bounced off each other whilst playing a wide variety of music had our 150 guests singing and moving all night long. As well as both being amazing performers, they were super easy to deal with in getting everything sorted for the night. From working with our time frames around formalities, to even accommodating a late venue change for our event. Would 100% recommend them if you are looking for an acoustic duo that gives you energy along with a huge variety of songs. If you want top shelf entertainment for your next event or evening, then these guys are what you need. Thanks again Mark and Jody.

I had the Alpha Duo for my 70th Birthday and I was more than happy how everything went. Mark and his partner were very easy to deal with and the quality of the music played was exceptional. I would highly recommend them for similar celebrations.

Professional and very flexible in dealing with wedding venues and changes in schedules. All the guests talked about the band and really enjoyed the music played due to the eclectic range of genres played. They also played the ceremony song requested at late notice and it was amazing! Fair pricing too - highly recommended!

Booked Alpha Acoustic Duo for my husband birthday. AMAZING! The duo got everyone in the party spirit with their tunes. We loved them soo much we paid for an extra two hours! Played all our requests and we danced along all night! Would def recommend the duo for events and have had friends ask for the details to hire them for their parties. Enjoyable night and everyone said “BEST PARTY EVA!”

Had a rad surprise for the wifes birthday over the wknd with a pop up picnic on the beach,i organised for mark to come down and play us some tunes while we were chilling out on the beach having a few wines watching the surf and sunset 🙌 Mark was outstanding and super cool to hang with,his music was great and really suited exactly what we wanted,on top of that he is a legend. Mark and crew were extremely easy to deal with and very professional. Music genres played and volume was perfect! Very accommodating with requests and had us dancing throughout the night. Definitely recommend them.

Mark and Jody played at our wedding 19/10/19 & were absolutely fantastic. They got people up and moving - young and old - and played all of our requested songs. They even let some of our musical family members take over the mic! Mark was very professional to deal with prior to the wedding and they were very organised & flexible on the night. All of our guests were raving about how good Mark and Jody are. These guys are super talented and we are so happy we chose GC Duo for our special day, they rocked!!!
